Exhibition Title: Vanities: Necessaires and Minaudieres from the Liang Yi Collection

Collaborating with the Hangzhou Arts and Crafts Museum, 230 pieces from the Museum's permanent collection of vanities were selected for the exhibition Vanities: Necessaires and Minaudieres from the Liang Yi Collection.

These small bejewelled boxes not only reflect the high quality of craftmanship and the luxurious lives of European socialites in the 20th century, but also demonstrate the rich material culture in ladies' fashion in Europe over the past century.
