The exhibition at London's Goldsmiths' Hall shone a light on the luxurious bejewelled make-up boxes that quickly became covetable accessories with the advent of beauty products.

Ultra Vanities, Bejewelled Make-Up Boxes from the Age of Glamour showcased an extensive private collection of over 200 glamorous make-up cases from the 1920s through to the 1970s. The exhibition included designs by some of the world's most revered jewellery brands, including Cartier, Boucheron, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Chaumet.
